Irma Carranza (30 October 1930 – 7 July 2022) was a Mexican writer / poet, women's rights advocate and aviation industry trailblazer. Irma was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the daughter of Ramona (née Salazar) and Santiago Carranza.
